4) Installation equipment and application
    Please consult the reference book before installing ATC-108 light insulation converter. Connect communication cable with RS-232,Joint port, power converter connect with +9V insert port, one point connect with RS-422 or  RS-485 equipment according to DB9 pin. Because ATC-108 converter inner converter method adopt auto-suit design, user don't have to modify any setting when finish RS-232 to RS-422/485 conversion. Connect directly  equipment  according to RS-422/485 joint definition.
ATC-108 converter  can hold the four-communication format as following:
1.   Dot to dot/ four line full duplex
2.   Dot to more dots/ four line full duplex

5) Power and surge protection grounding  

1.External power
    ATC-108  light  insulation  joint  converter,  adopt  9V  power  adapter power supply, also power supply from other direct current power or equipment  power  supply,  power  voltage  +9---+12V,  electrical current 300mA,

2.Surge protection grounding  
    Ordinary  port  converter  without  many  protection  equipments, because instantaneous high voltage on joint data line, try to release energy to ground wire from mini resistance of equipment. So it is convenient  to damage joint parts of an apparatus. ATC-108 light insulation converter can  provide 600W lighting strike protection power, fast instantaneous voltage  suppresser (TVS) can control lighting and ESD effectively, ATC-108 joint  converter DB9 pin PIN5 is surge protection grounding.
